LCR E-TEAM DUO READY TO RACE AFTER FINAL TEST IN JEREZ

The 2021 FIM MotoE World Cup is close to getting started, after a final three-day test in Jerez ahead of the first round which will also take place at Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto on May 2nd.
The LCR E-Team completed the second test of the pre-season, which included a race simulation in which Miquel Pons finished 3rd. After a good first day of practice, Spaniard Miquel Pons started off the simulation race from the first row and managed to finish on the podium (3rd). Meanwhile, Italian rider Kevin Zannoni, still getting used to his Energica machine, started from the last row of the grid (P17). Eventually, he could recover some positions and finished 13th.
On the third day, the LCR duo continued testing theirs Ego Corsas. Miquel Pons finished 7th in the combined times of the 3 days. Zanonni, unfortunately, suffered a small crash during the last session, and ended up 16th overall.
Nonetheless, both riders are optimistic about the progress made during this final test session, and looking forward to the opening round of the FIM MotoE World Cup in Jerez, Spain on May 2nd – the first of seven races at six venues.
