PONS 4th ON THE GRID IN BARCELONA, ZANNONI LOOKING FOR A COMEBACK

LCR E-Team rider Miquel Pons qualified 4th during the e-pole on Saturday in Barcelona and will therefore start from the second row in Sunday’s race of the electric class. The Spaniard, sitting 7th in the Combined times on Friday is looking to secure his first podium on his Ego Corsa.

Unable to change his position, Italian rider Kevin Zannoni made an improvement in his lap time during FP3 but will start the race from the last row of the grid, after ending up 17th on the E-pole. He is focused now on recovering as many positions as possible during the race to collect important points for the World Cup overall.
