MATTIA CASADEI

Born in 1999, Mattia Casadei participated in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2015 before returning to the Italian Championship, racing in the Moto3™ and Supersport 600 categories. He also participated in the Red Bull Rookies Cup for two seasons, until 2019, when he landed in the Championship of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship. In his first campaign win the E-class he earned a podium place. Something that he improved during the 2020 course, thanks to a third spot in the Andalucia GP and a second place in the Emilia-Romagna GP. Casadei finished the season 5th overall and repeated the feat after claiming three more podiums in 2021. In 2022, the Italian claimed seven podiums – including two victories – on his way to finishing fourth in the Cup. 2023 was his year, as he was crowned the MotoE World Champion after 5 victories and 5 other podium results.
