ZANONNI IN THE TOP 10 AT SPIELBERG, PONS P12
The fifth race of the 2021 FIM Enel MotoE™️ World Cup got underway on Sunday at the Red Bull Ring, with a total of 5 laps instead of 7, due to wet track conditions.
LCR E-Team rider Kevin Zannoni claimed 9th position at Spielberg on Sunday, his best ever result in the all-electric class so far. Considering that it was his first time competing at the Austrian circuit on the Ego Corsa, the Italian has shown great progress comparing to the first part of the season and is pleased with his result. Zannoni will be looking for further improvement at the next round.
Unfortunately, teammate Miquel Pons got a track limit penalty of 3 seconds, and finished P12. It would have been a solid P10 finish otherwise. The Spaniard believes he’ll be back in the top positions next time around.
MotoE™️ will be back on track at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the final two races of the 2021 season.
