CHALLENGING SATURDAY FOR THE LCR E-TEAM AT THE SACHSENRING
LCR E-TEAM riders have concluded the Grand Prix of Germany after a demanding day marked by several ups and downs.
Brazilian Eric Granado made a fantastic start at Race 1 and even placed himself first, constantly pushing and defending his position. Unluckily, a crash on the last lap ended with his podium and victory chances, while he was carrying out a fantastic job. On the other side of the box, Spaniard Pons crossed the line 8th.
When it was time to recover from the morning race situation, it started to rain in the first stages of the second race, and the grid completed just 60% of the original length (as it’s the minimum to be considered a completed race). Things this way, Eric Granado finished 4th and Miquel Pons 11th.

Race 1 DNF | Race 2 4th
“This morning, I could have won, but I missed the front and crashed. We felt good, and we could have added another victory. In the afternoon, I could do a great performance under the rain, but unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, they stopped the race, and we took 4th. We’ll keep working on the setup and try again in Assen!”

Race 1 8th | Race 2 11th
“It’s been a difficult weekend overall. I didn’t have the perfect feeling, and our strategy didn’t pay off. We need to keep working for the positions that count. We are never giving up, and we’ll try harder next week!”
