POLE POSITION AND NEW LAP RECORD FOR ERIC GRANADO

An amazing return to track for the LCR E-Team after the summer break. Both riders went straight to the Q2 and in an impressive qualifying session, Eric Granado claimed Pole Position and set an all new lap time record at the Red Bull Ring on Friday. Miquel Pons, qualified 8th.

During day 1 of the penultimate round of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, the LCR Duo showed great form. In the morning practice, Brazilian rider Eric Granado was able to finished 3rd (1’50.190) and teammate Miquel Pons claimed 5th (1’50.636) .

Both riders improved their laps times while getting used to the new track layout, (new chicane) in dry conditions during FP2, finishing 3rd (Granado) and 4th (Pons). An exciting first day for the LCR E-Team indeed.
